RadicalPencil Private Limited was incorporated in Delhi on 9 July 2020. We build and run School Saathi Pro.
Our story
Indian schools run on registers: admission registers, fee registers, attendance registers, mark sheets, and a cupboard of circulars. The people who keep them are careful and overworked, and the software sold to them is usually built for somebody else — a big city chain, a different board, a different language.
RadicalPencil was started to build for the school office as it actually is. We sit in that office first. Then we build the modules the school agrees it needs — fees, attendance, examinations, admissions, timetables, transport, parent communication, UDISE+ filing — and host them under the school's own name, logo and domain, with staff and family apps to match. Our engineering team keeps the system running; the school keeps its brand, its data and its parents' trust.
We are a small team. We work from Noida and Greater Noida, with a regional office in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and we spend a lot of our time in schools.
What we believe
Schools should run on teaching, not paperwork.
Every hour a clerk spends re-typing a register is an hour we should have saved.
The school’s name on the door.
The brand, the domain and the data belong to the school. We build and run the system under a licence; we never put our name in front of a parent.
Simple enough for a clerk’s first day.
Plain English and Hindi, an ordinary phone, no IT department. If it needs a manual, we have not finished.
Say only what is true.
No inflated numbers, no claims we cannot keep. The same rule we ask of a school’s records, we apply to ourselves.
